I congratulate you on the upcoming 2010 and wish you a Merry Christmas. Our interaction based on the Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Aid Treaty between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Abkhazia was a success over the last year – the parties have managed to achieve a number of substantial agreements which have allowed to improve considerably the situation in the spheres vitally important for the reviving Abkhaz state.
We highly appreciate the assistance and support rendered by the leadership of the Russian Federation.
I am sure that traditionally friendly, historically good-neighborly relations between our countries will be henceforth a solid basis of the development of long-term Abkhaz-Russian partnership.
