23 citizens of the Republic of Abkhazia study at military higher education establishments of the Russian Federation, Jury Zviryk the chief of the Border guard department of FSB of the Russian Federation in Abkhazia said at a press conference in Sukhum.
“The agreement between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Abkhazia on joint efforts in protection of the state border of the Republic of Abkhazia” from April 30 provides for rendering assistance to Abkhazia in training professional specialists”, he said, adding that young people are trained at the Kurgan Border Guard Institute.
