“Now the system of Abkhazia’s maritime border protection is a complex of measures including elements of radar camouflage of the sea water area situation and use of naval forces which have started to patrol the border since recently”, General Jury Zviryk the chief of the Border guard department of FSB of the Russian Federation in Abkhazia said at a press conference.
He also told journalists that five projects of border guard infrastructure are at the stage of construction completion. “We plan to finish building other projects by the end of 2011 according to the plan”, he added.
